Williams Creek Painted Kitchen
A painted inset kitchen carried through to the office, laundry and a stained lounge on the same floor.
Zebrawood is a timber that rewards restraint. The doors here are flat and unadorned, with the grain run horizontally so the figure carries across the whole elevation in one line, which only works if the sequencing is planned before anything is cut.
The fireplace wall in the adjoining room is faced in the same material, so the two spaces read as one continuous piece of work rather than a kitchen and a separate feature.
